3-, 4- and 5-axis machining

With seven CNC machining centres we make components of many shapes and levels of complexity. Besides 3-axis milling we use 4-axis machining and 5-axis technology to reach several sides of a part and demanding 3D geometry.

Highlights
  1. 4th axis with rotary table

Several sides of the part machined without re-clamping.

  2. 5-axis machining

Positional (3+2) and simultaneous machining of demanding 3D geometry.

  3. Fewer clampings, better repeatability

Choosing the right machine and process reduces clampings and secures dimensional quality.

Typical work
  • 3-axis milling of mechanical components
  • 4-axis machining with a rotary table
  • 5-axis positional and simultaneous machining
  • Milling complex contours, bores and shapes
  • Prototype and series components

Common questions
What do you need for a quote?

A technical drawing (PDF), ideally also a 3D model (STEP), the quantity, material, surface treatment requirements and the date you need the parts by. Send it all with the inquiry form.

How big can a part be?

Axis travel is up to 1016 × 508 × 635 mm; the 5-axis centre has a Ø 500 mm table. The usable part size depends on clamping and is smaller in 5-axis work — send the drawing and we’ll check.

Who writes the program?

We program in-house in SolidCAM, straight from your 3D model.
